Default Pinks!!!!!

I love it. Domestic vs import was on tonight. A 89 hatch mustang with a vortec headed 355 on 150 shot vs a full blown gutted lexan glass,fiberglass doors race civic hatchback with a builted DOHC and a 125 shot of gas. Import started crying because they popped the hood on the mustang and they was a V8 on nitrous. "That's not a 13 sec car they cryed". The mustang guy said neither is yours and the civic kid said I ran a 14.8 on the motor! I'm sorry I may be a domestic guy but come on 1700 pound civic with a 250 plus horse motor.................piffffffff............ 14.8.....pifff....more like 12.8....they just picked the wrong race to try to sandbag. Long story short!!!!

First race{heads up/bottle to bottle}

Mustang just paced him and won by a fender

Second race{civic gets 2 cars/ bottle to bottle}

Mustang put half a car on him.

Third and finally race {civic gets 14 cars/ bottle to bottle}
CIVIC BROKE!!!! Mustang team is gonna put it on ebay and sell it.

This is the second import vs domestic this year and the imports keep bringing a fist to a machine gun battle. Better hope those supra owners don't decide to play or it may swing the other way.

Thoughts on the show: It's fudged up. Every week same thing 2 cars show up suppose to run 13's and one runs 10's or has 300 passes on it. While the other is sneeky with what they think is a 11 sec that has never been down a track. Still its dragging racing and I enjoy watching the shock-n-aw and every going "its got more in it" or "he was lifting I heard it rev".

I think the show is entertaining.... it's better than another cooking show or show about NASCAR on speed channel.....

and if you think about it it's alot like real streetraacing..... people wanting lengths' or the go or what not..... the best show i've seen so far was the 2 hayabusa's..... all the races were heads up... put up or shutup....

The show is nuts! really puts me on the edge of my seat!

Some people show their true character on that show..

Then again its hard to blames them when their ride is at stake...

I'd be willing to bet half the races are staged between buddies and cars are hardly ever taken. Remember it IS tv...

Your Probally right I do like seeing rice get fried though, even if it is by a ford. Well least the ford was chevy powered.

there was actually a because discussion about that on another board. The race between the TA and the civic. Thet took his car and put it up for sell.

I like the one with the old school fairlane and the mustang. The mustang crew chief walked over to the fairlane and looked at the aluminum headed big block on nitrous and said thats just a 12 sec car.

My favorite was the busas racing.

I have mixed feelings about the show. Nonetheless, it is amusing to watch sometimes. It would be nice to see some different cars thrown into the mix. It seems lately the only cars I have seen racing are fox-bodies, f-bodies, and civics.

Before any of the races start, they sign their titles over to the show, so the TV show owns them. After whoever is victorious, receives both titles for both cars.

The one with the red TA and the Civic, the TA guy sold back the Civic to the guy for $1000.

The price he sold it to was never disclosed to anyone. The Red T/A guy posts on camaroz28 and all he ever said was he sold it for enough to get his tranny fix and something else then a little extra cash.

^My point was that the car was sold back to the original owner. I dont know where I pulled the $1000 from, but it was somewhere from cz28.com

Yah there was a bunch of rumos on how much it was old for. If I remeber correctly though he onl sold it back because the kid had a breakdown and went to the hospital. I would have kept it especially if that kid was gonna be a little bitch about it.

I thought it was funny as hell when they went to look at the engines last night and when the Civic team looked at the Mustang, they were like, sh*t, we didn't know it had a Chevy Engine in it, classic moment.

So thats two civics on Pinks that have asked for more than a dozen lengths against domestics....It would have been a fairer fight to put the white Rx7 (the one that beat the pink fake spraying hatch) against the Chevy powered Fox body, at least that would have been closer. But then again, that Civic was sandbagging BAD and broke when he finally tried to leave hard.

its not a staged event.

The guy from cz28.com with the t/a told the baord that they left out ALOT of stuff. Like 3 hours of racing and crammed it into 30 mins.

Its real racing, but it just looks staged cause of the stuff they show.
