sup, I'm new here, i have a 96 Z28 with longtubes, true duals, corvette servo, Transpac, Free mods, 1800 stall, and the best lol Chrome salad shooters soon to be c5s or Zr1s. I am 18 years old 6'1" and have 1 month left of my senior year, june 5 i start roofing making 19 an hour which will all pretty much go into to my car, My plans are to put a Golen 396 LT4 stroker, 6speed conversion, hood, spoiler and a 12 bolt with full suspension, guess well see how it goes Chad

Whats up, welcome. Sounds like a nice car you got there. Keep us posted on your stroker, thats what Im doing when this motor gives up the ghost.

if you plan on doing the 6spd swap instead of the 12 bolt id go with a 9", its stronger youll for sure want it if you plan on doing the 396 stroker but welcome and good luck.

What 93BlackZ said, 6spd go with the 9 inch. I broke two 12 bolts in the Trans Am, just the pinion both times, but it gets pricey!

i know this sounds odd since i have an M6 but why do the swap? M6's impress high schooler's...auto's win races..... screw the high schoolers...

yo man sounds like me . im 6'3" about to graduate and have a M6 trans am wit some goodies under the hood nothin too special. but im about to do some major crap this summer too.
