Default LT1/LT4 Stuff

Will a LT1 Intake bolt to LT4 Heads-

Just asking, they look the same, but some stuff you can't combine....

It may bolt on however, the ports won't match! So it won't work!

LT4 has taller ports, you can modify a lt1 intake to work with lt4 heads..

The LT4 intakes ports don't match the heads either since they are the same as the LT1 plenum and ports. No matter how many times this is explained people just refuse to learn.
The LT4 intake has more material on top of the port to seal to the taller ports in the heads or allow port matching but does not match in stock form.

If I were going to mate an LT1 intake to LT4 heads I would have additional material welded in above the port first, then get it macghined all pretty.

Or just sniff around EBAY and find a LT4 Intake

With the price those are going for these days bet it is cheaper to modify an LT1 intake.
