Is this too much??? Ok well Im lookin at a 95 T/A. It has 2k miles on the motor roughly 65k on the tranny, forged pistons, a 6 in outlaw hood, t-tops, A4, leather, and perfect (and I mean perfect) interior. Here is the kicker, it has 107k on the body, and needs paint and I got the guy down to $8000, and thats the question. Would I be dumb to buy the car or does that sound about right. Please let me know what you think. Anything will help the decision will be appreciated.

Its not worth that much. You can basically do those mods to a car for like $1k-$1500. For $8k you should be able to come up with a LT1 car in pristine condition inside and out, or a highly modded clean car. I would keep looking.

For 8k it had better be mint. I definitely wouldn't give that much if it needed painted....
8k is starting to get into ls1 territory. I'd go that route over an lt1 that needs a paint job IMO.
