Trans question
Trans question my brother has a 94 camaro with the lt1, his trans went out...he is lookin to get a trans from a 97 camaro..would it work without any problems...or do i ahve to do something to make ti work

those years are not interchangable, the 94 was the only year the 4l60e did not use a PWM TCC lockup. His best bet is to find a 94 or get his rebuilt, converting another years would be sloppy and cost as much as a rebuild...

actually it will work but you will get a p1860 code from not having the TCC PWM. my tranny is a 93 4L60E with no pwm and it works fine, i just get that code but no problems. I have a 2002 5.3L in my 93 truck.
