TECH Help after Installs Here’s what’s going on: My car has a surge/jerking motion happing @ the 45~55 MPH which is about 1500~1600 RPMs. I feel it while maintaining the speed. If I accelerate she feels fine. This all started after my last upgrade and I cannot figure out what is causing it. Here’s a list of last work I preformed last:
-Installed new head gaskets
-Installed LT4 Hot Cam kit (1.6rr, valve springs, new lifters and pushrods)
-Converted to vented opti (Opti purchased from ebay, item described as new, did come in AC-Delco box and looked in new condition)
-New NGK TR-55 plugs
-Timing Chain and gears
-Cleaned Throttle Body
-Cleaned valves and re-seated them.
-Deleted EGR system
-Installed new PCMforLess chip to match mods.
-Installed new O2 sensors.
I have checked plug wires, engine holds solid vacuum @ idle (850 RPMs). Is not setting any codes. When I’m running @ 30~40 or 60~70 MPH, the engine runs smooth and I cannot feel any problems.
Any ideals????? I’m running out of things to check.
