Default need tuning help!

I am running tuner cats and am just changing around the constants for the rev. limiter and speed limiter etc. oh also the fans. can you help me out a bit. (hoping you've used tunercats)

on the speedo I have the calibration for my tire size and my stock 2.73 rear end ratio. It shows the numbers that it should put it to get the right speedo setting. but on the right it has the current settings and those numbers are way off.

Current:
Speedo scaler: the number is too big for the field
Speedometer scaler fraction: 0.043
speedometer scaler scantool: 36.199
time between pulses for stop: 7.721
pulses per driveshaft rev: 40

new values:
22
0.992
36.946
40.6
40

these seem way off, not sure why. I have it set to stock speed sensor and 275/40/17 tires, and 2.73:1 gears. F-car

also for the other values
fan 1 on threshold low mph:82*C
fan 1 on threshold high mph:90*C
fan 2 on low:87
fan 2 on high:95
fan hysteresis low and high speed:3*C
fan threshold high speed mph:40mph
fuel cutoff:255mph
resume:254mph
and not sure what to set rev limiter to.

any comments or suggestions about these? or any other swith value i should change. Im just doing the most basic tune until i can get to a dyno and get it done for real.

I know this is a lot of questions any help is much appreciated.

The new numbers....

Speedo Scalar 22
Speedo Scalar Fraction 0.992
Speedo Scalar Scantool 36.946
Time between pulse 40.6
Pulses per drivshaft Rev 40

Thats what I should be for a 275/40/17 with a 2.73 gear

Fans should be ok, Mine are close to that

That's weird. Your stock numbers are way off the norm (which is obviously why the new numbers that should have worked didn't.

This is what I had in my stock tune on a 94 A4 2.73.

speedo scalar: 22
scalar fraction: 0.988
scalar scan tool: 36.199
time between pulses: 41.367
pulses per driveshaft rev. : 40

Are you sure someone didn't install a different type of speedo in that car?

i dont know man, it is really strange. but i was driving it all day and seemed to stay with traffic well. in front of a cop and got radared a couple of times and never pulled over. I was doing 39-40 in a 40. i guess i'll try to research more. I am wanting to do 3.73's but am confused now how to correct the speedo.
