Anywhere from 3K to 6K depending on the kit, whether you find a used one or not, and who installs it.

He was reffering to the blower itself. He didnt completly read the post. Install can be close to $1000 at some shops. If it's a new kit with all the parts included you can do it yourself in a weekend with some cold beer.

installation is not that bad, you could knock that off yourself.

The one major thing that people forget when adding forced induction is that you cannot just slap a blower on and drive away. You need to start addressing the injectors, the tuning...that's where it gets expensive. A proper install of a blower would include new injectors, for sure a tune, dyno time and a good idea to address the ignition whether Accel or MSD.

But as for the actual laboring to put the supercharger on, it's not hard at all...and i would not go with Vortech, noisy. Stay with the good, proven brands...ATI is one of the best.

I wouldn't be able to. I know i could catch some flak for this but since im only 18 i really don't know how to work on my car for ****. It's going to be a used kit.

At least you keep it real instead of trying to take on a task you know you cant complete. Make sure the used kit you buy has everything. If you take it to a shop and parts are missing I'm sure if it's not thier first rodeo theyll be able to get it wereas if it was you doing it you could see 1-3 day set backs. Good luck. I hope it came with everything and I hope youve addresses the fuel, ignition, and tuning things youll need if needed for stock boost.
