Default Modding Help

Ok right now i basically have a stock 1996 M6 LT-1 Formula. I have CAI and B&M shifter.

What should I do next?
This car is my strip / cruiser / DD (for now till i get my lil 4banger)

I need to find someone to build me a tranny so can someone step in for that? I live in NW Indiana. I want a built T56 i think. From what i read that seems to be the way to go.

Start with suspension.. build from the ground up and put what power you do have to the ground... adjustable lower control arms, adjustable panhard rod, adjustable torque arm, subframe connectors, bilstein shocks, springs, relocation brackets for the lower control arms, etc....

as for the tranny, check out D&D Performance... My T56 was built with their performance parts and its perfect

Can't go wrong with an exhaust. As soon as I get some money, I will be getting a GMMG. Probably the best sounding exhaust there is. It might cost more than some, but it is definately worth it.

As for the trans, there are a few sponsers on here who can do it ---------->
Finish Line Performance I know is in a Chicago suburb which might be close enough for you to take it to. Otherwise, you can find a local, respectable trans place to take care of it.

Hope this helps.

I do things a little different. First I sit down and decide what I want from the car. Then I make a list of parts Ill need to get me there in five section (interior, exterior, engine, drivetrain, suspension) with the most important expensive stuff at the top of the list going down. From there Ill decide what I want most first. Usually I go with engine. Ill finish around 80% of the engine list then start on suspension. Then once suspension reaches 80% complete Ill start something else. For the camaro I did as much engine as possible then did suspension while doing the drivetrain. In between time I was looking for deals on stuff for the interior and exterior but those wont be done until I complete the engine and suspension. Sounds wierd but that's how I get down when I mod something.
