Default need suggestions on lt1 header set up

I am about to buy a set of long tube headers for my 95 TA and was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions on which ones to buy as well as who might have the best prices at the time. Another question that I have is there realy a huge differance between coated and uncoated? Is any body out ther running uncoated headers?

Pacesetter makes a good quality product, and for the price they offer them at it is pretty tough to beat. Coated just keeps underhood temps down.

Jet Hot/Hooker headers are great. Nice coating on them, and easy installation.

Probably the worst aftermarket headers made for our cars. Plus hes looking for long tubes.

If you aren't going to go Kooks Stainless, pacesetter is by far the best option. Best price by far, and best fitment.

Thanks for the suggestions, it sounds like pacesetters are the way to go. Now to decide between coated and uncoated. Any opinions?

With the money your saving over other headers i would get coated. Low underhood temps are always good

Yea mang, get coated. I can be at the track in 80* weather after a pass. And 20 min later i can get into my plugs and wires and the headers will be cold.

Yeah, I think I will get the coated pacesetters after thinking about it. Right now the cheapest I can find them for is on ebay for $557.00 which includes y pipe and o2 extensions as well as shipping. Anyone know where I can get them for less?

On summit theyre 129 for the ypipe and 429 for the headers. Bout the same.

Uncoated ones will turn to a very ugly color after about 30 minutes. Definately get coated.

Is that just for headers tony. He is looking for headers, y pipe, and o2 extensions. The coated headers on byunspeed are 375 and the y pipe is 125. Then you got to pay shipping. O2 extensions are usually around 40 for the 24"

Byunspeed, those are awesome deals, I am basically wanting the ceramic coated pacesetter long tubes and y pipe. I want the off road version. Do I need anything else for the installation on these? What all do I need? Will I need the o2 extensions?
