Tuning my car?
hello i have a 94 firebird formula with an lt1.
I want to tune my car. i have a laptop and i was wondering if there was a cable i could buy to tune it, or should i upgrade to odb2?
i prefer the cheaper of the options.

Why would you think OBD2 was an upgrade????
You need a cable like from akmcables.com and software from tunercat.com along with a whole lot of knowledge and time, be warned you can easily blow up the motor and an automatic tranny if you screw things up. Custom professional work is suprizingly cheap might start there.

my friend owns a snap on problem code reader can i use that to tune?
I didnt really look at it when i used it last.

Find a performance shop around your location that does dyno tuning and pay the 350 dollars to get the car tuned correctly.... There is A LOT that is involved with tuning a car... but hey, its your money, and your car..
