Default Water Temp Sensor

After doing some research, I think I have a bad water temp sensor that is mounted on the water pump. Do the local part store sell them or do I have to go to Pontiac to find this. I can stop at Pontiac on my way out and grab it if needed. Is it expensive?

Thanks!
Mike

No it isn't expensive and the dealership should have it in stock.

Screw going to the dealership for something so simple. GP Sorenson part# is TSU81 and it runs like $8.99 It's the same one GM used on about everything during most of the 90's and late 80's.
