1. Cold Air(K&N)
2. A Cutout(Screw emissions, the guy who did my cutout said he would pass me(he has a license to do so) if i referred my buds to him)
3. SFC's, LCA's, TQ ARM
4. New Bilstein Shocks / Struts
5. Trans Rebuild With Stage 1 shift kit
6. 3000 Stall
7. LE2 package

Here are some questions,
1. will i need a tack since i can rev to 6,500?
2. is the LE2 kit NITROUS friendly?
3. SHould i buy shorties instead of stock manifold? i dont want LT's
I've already purchased and installed the, CAI, Cutout, SFC's,LCA's,and the TQ arms, ive ordered the shocks/struts, and after i get all that its down to the local tranny shop for the rebuild, shift kit and the 3000! after that im going to send the heads to Lloyd and when i get those on, them BONE STOCK LS1's are going down! should be a month before i have it all done!

My next mods after all this is the new 12 bolt(4.10) and an additional 100 shot!
Sounds like a good plan except, why don't you want longtubes, especially if you are getting a cutout and don't have to pass emissions? You will probably need longtubes if you want to make good power with the LE2 stuff.

Shorties are pathetic, do not get them, they do not improve things that much over the stock manifolds. If you get huge heads and then stay with manifolds or shorties that will severely restrict exhaust flow and you'll lose a lot of power.

You really shouldn't have spent money on a TQ arm if you are going to be roll racing. Honestly the LCA's and TQ arm really help out of the hole. You need to get Longtubes or at the very minimum mac midlenghts. You will be pissed at yourself for getting choked up headers with all your other mods not making any power. I also would not go 4.10 in an auto especially if you are going to be roll racing.

well i do SOME out of the hole racing, and when i take off now that i have that TQ arm, my tires grip and go ON CHEAP TIRES(buy new ones) was a major improvement and im glad i purchased it! So i should go 3.73's? and ill go ahead and get the longtubes, ill buy them when i get the LE2 so i can install them all at one time! MY SHOCKS AND STRUTS CAME IN TO DAY AND WHEW! i think i lost some seconds on my ET just doing suspention!

Alot of people love 3.73s, they would be the better choice for your application over 4.10. In one of my LT1's I have 3.42's and I love them, a great all around gear since I drive on the highway and sometimes decide to mess around with a mustang here or there

Since you posted in the other thread that you were in Amarillo, I'd give serious thought to a STS rear mount turbo. You're going to sink $$ in to heads/cam and be "average" up there at high altitude. You can make your own altitude with a turbo and, well, roll out.

My plan (when I was up there) was to go forced induction. That's the only way to really get around the altitude handicap. I did get my '98 running 12.7's cam only up there (and then came down here and it ran 11.8's ).

I think you should kick the turbo idea around...

Suspension mods do more than most people think.

Sounds like you are well on your way to having a fun car.

do you know any guys from here? i know if you had a nice car then you would of taken it to the sonic, thats where the stock ls1 guys who give me hell about my lt1 go! thats cool, its a small world, and about the suspention, OMG i love it! i ordered some c6 ZO6 wheels with nitto's today! and then tomorrow im taking the car to the tranny shop downtown and he is going to hook me up with a deal since his company sponsers my uncles race car at Route 66 motor speedway! Stage 1 shift kit and a 3000 Stall! and of course the rebuild! then its off with the heads, there going to Lloyd!
