Question timing chain ?

doies the oil pan have to be removed to install the timing chain? If so does the motor have to be raised off the mounts to remove it? Has anyone out ther went through this?

You will have to drop the pan slightly to get the timing cover off. There is a lip on the bottom of the timing cover and dips into the oil pan. I did not have to loosen the mounts.

We pulled the Timing Cover off and has no problems when we did the Cam.
