I dont plan On driving again till I get the 383 sitting in my garage put in. I only put the headers in so I could beat a similar camaro this weekend at the track

How the heck did you get the emission's headers in from the top? My EGR fitting would hit the firewall and the AIR tube was so long it would hit the inner fender not allowing it to go down and in. Was the EGR fitting cut off and welded shut?
I put mine in through the top and they are the emmisions ones. I had about 34 hours into mine, only took about an hour to get the new ones in. I ran into some porblems that sucked up alot of my time, like figuring how to attach the air valves, figuring out why my car wouldn't start after the install, extending the o2's, hooking the egr back up.

Getting them in was pretty easy with the valve covers removed, they required a little jiggle but thats it! Thread Starter
