Default Pacesetter LT's installed, need help!

I just got my Pacesetter LT'S , ORY and Magnaflow exhaust installed on my 95 TA. It sounds awesome and car is much faster but now I have a very anoying problem, the Y pipe is banging on the bottom of the floor pan at certain rpm's. If anyone has had this problem and has fixed it please give me some advise on the easiest ways to fix this. I was thinking about maybe wrapping some header wrap around the y pipe to at least deaden the sound a little bit.

Jditlfm, what did you do to get the clearence? Did you bang it with a hammer? Use a grinder?

I just took the tunnel brace off the car and put it into a vice and bent the part that was hitting my Y-pipe. I then placed it on the concreat floor and hit it with a Big hammer intill the creases in it at the part it was hitting my Y-pipe were flat. Then reinstalled. I have a pic.

Did you try adjusting the header by loosening the bolts and pulling down on it? I had to go back and adjust the y-pipe a couple of times, I didn't have it slid up far enough the first time. Header wrap won't really help. If you didn't replace motor mounts then your motor is probably twisting too much and causing it as well.

Thats what is going on with my formula, after I put the pacesetters on all sorts of new noises. My biggest problem is the header is hitting under the driver floor board under hard acceleration. I need to replace my motor mounts, is that really difficult to do? I think it will be seeing as how I still have a/c on the car and everything is in the way. We relplaced them on our camaro but it has no a/c, abs all that so it wasn't that bad to change those out. What kind of motor mounts do you all recommend?

I wonder if setting up Duals will get rid of this problem. I am putting on LT's soon, and thinking about doing True Duals.

Here's my y-pipe with dual 3" cats added. It will barely touch the driver's floor brace when you nail it from a dead stop. The header wrap is to protect the fuel and gas lines from the heat, not to quiet it from hitting the floor. I have a solid 1/2" to 3/4" of clearance from the y-pipe to the floor brace. You need to loosen the header and pry down on it and then tighten it back up. If you decide to have cats added like I did, you can angle the y-pipe away from the floor even more when it gets welded back up.

Thanks for the suggestions and the pictures are much appreciated. I wonder if I need new motor mounts? I recently snapped the rear transmision mount in half when I shifted in 2n'd.(A4)

The small cat is from www.Pypesexhaust.com and it's not that expensive either. My car is actually very quiet at cruise speeds with the LT and dual 3" cats with the SLP 2OTL cat-back.
