Default PCM for less pricing

i was wondering if anyone could tell me how much pcmforless charges for a retune. i know it says $175 for an LT1 tune, but i have seen in the forums people saying they've goten it done for $114 with shipping. if it is $114, i'd rather go through pcmforless, cause they refund the whole core charge i think.

175 for a tune jeez I should start tuning other peoples PCM and ECMs that is good money. I do all my own tuning since I have all the tools needed.

Yo Mike, I think my MadZ28 tune was totally f-ed up cause when I got rid of it I went from 10mpg to 16mpg. I talked to Bryan from PCMforless and he says gas mileage really shouldn't be affected so I guess not. I'll have PCMforless tune my car since my previous tune was garbage.

Jewbacca: It says the tuning is $175 on pcmforless' site and a retune is $50. That retune only applies if you had your computer tuned by them previously and you wanna have it tuned again or whatever.

That is why I am glad I know tuning and can do the whole thing myself. When they are tuning the map for a car that is NOT in front of them they are just adding values that they have used on test cars and that deosn't always work out the best. To get a GREAT PERFECT tune it has to be right there in front of them so they can tune it according to the car.
