Question I need help heads and cam

I want to buy a heads and cam package for my LT1 camaro, I'm preparing it for drag. so its not a streatable car
what is the best heads and cam package for it? (most HP)
its an A4 so I think that I need a torque converter is that right? and what are other stuff do you recommend that I do for my drag car?

A higher stall converter will utilize your rpm range and torque peak. It would be a good investment along with the head and cam package.

Heads & Cam - www.advancedinduction.com
TC- www.converter.cc

My personal choices and who I chose for my car. Both were very helpful and polite. Depending on how big the cam is will depend on how big of a converter you'll need but the people from the converter company will usually offer help with picking that stuff out. Good luck.

I will second Advanced Induction with a fairly mild package they helped me make a daily driver Caprice run a best of 12.5 sofar with sub 12.8 even in warm weather with 3.42s in back, 3.73s in now and looking forward to 11s come fall.

On the converter my choice is www.edgeracingconverters.com but you can't go wrong with Yank either. Vig would be my third choice.

AI has a car running 10.0 with their 190cc package and a solid roller with an owner that does everything right, that is NA 383 in a 3300 or so lbs car, BUT that is also on stock engine management limiting him to 7200rpms which he hits a little ways before the traps. I don't know how much lightening you want to do or wether you want NA, aftermarket injection etc..
