Default Bad A/C schrader falve

Does anyone else have this problem that when the weather gets hot, the value goes bad and leaks and the system wont hold pressure for its life? It happend on my 93 formula and now it happening to my 94 formula

Yeah, I have a bad one too except it went bad when I tried to evacuate and recharge the system. Leaked out all the refrigerant. Terrible in summer.

I'm pretty sure you can just pull it apart and replace the O ring inside there or even the whole valve fairly easily. I'd have to look at mine .... but mine did the same thing and I was going to do the AC delete anyways so I just left it until I removed the AC.

yeah it is exactly like a tire valve stem valve just take a tire shcrader valve remover and unscrew it and but a new one....make sure to discharge the system before removing the valve or u will have freon and oil all over the place (ac lubricant oil not motor oil)
