Lightbulb LT1 supercharger?
Did you know that magnacharger makes a superchager for the lt1. the have a set up for the 93-97 chevy trucks. so do you guys think that it would work for our cars?

wont work with the cowl under the windshield.

Well look where the supercharger gets its air thats never gonna work and from the height you would have to cut the cowl also this is for a gen1 block not for a gen 2 block if I am not mistaking and so I think its not gonna fit right with the bolts/holes.
This is just my opinion and before I would try to modify that magnacharger I would modify a weiand 6-71.

Those trucks had Vortec heads which used an LT1 intake port design. They are not LT1s, but a Gen1 engine with a few fetures that were borrowed from LT1s. The only similarity is the internal components.

Pontiac actually built a 93 supercharged formula firebird. I was an article in High performance Pontiac Magazine it was in the September 2006 issue.

hmmm I alllways thought the caprice and the impala SS were cars not trucks.......
