cc503
I currently have the lt4 hotcam and i want to step up a little bit and buy a compcams 503 the specs are 224 intake and 230 exaust duration. the lift is 503 and 510 on 1.5 ratio rockers. I have the lt4 hotcam springs, 1.6 rollerrockers, and pcm tuning so could i just buy the cam and just get the computer retuned, or do i need to buy different springs and retainers.
thanks for the help, Josh

The LT4 HOT cam springs are rated to .530" max lift.
IMO, those 2 cams are so close it is not worth changing. It is only worth going straight to the CC503 instead of the hot cam.
The little extra lift is not worth going for - same as the +4 duration intake and +2 exhaust.
You'll get all done, having spent time and money, and tell us "I can't really tell the difference."
The GMPP rockers are fine - they are made by Crane and are good quality parts.
