Default Gears or Headers???????

I have a 94 LT1, 2.73, CAI, K&N, slp loudmouth, and upgraded tranny. I am wondering what my next mod should be, i'm thinking gears or longtubes. What would be the best to do first? and how much gain should i expect from the headers?

you will gain more from gears. get some 3.42 or 3.73, it will feel like you have a new car.

373 for A4 or 410 for M6

I'd either do headers and catback (loudmouth will sound like **** with headers) or gears and stall.

really, just do headers, gears, and stall.

You will love the car after that.

You'll be disappointed at how loud and obnoxious and ghey your exhaust is if you do headers and loudmouth, ask anyone.

Pacesetter Coated Mids and LM1 sound great as long as Cat isnt gutted.

It varies, some headers are thicker then others. And its pretty easy to change the muffler on the SLP, its just a long can.

yeah, i mean it will be fine, but if it's a daily driver, and does a lot of highway miles, and you care about gas mileage it will be expensive

You probably wont notice a big mpg difference in town but if you travel on the highway you will get owned.

Longtubes, ORY, and LM is the most obnoxious exhaust system ever. It's loud and it doesn't even sound good

Shorties/mids, catted, and LM wouldn't be too bad.

I noticed a bigger improvement going from 2.73's to 3.73's than going from my stock exhaust to full exhaust. The full exhaust realy woke the car up but the 2.73's just suck!
