Default need high torque starter, where and what kind?

i just installed another stock starter in my new motor w/11.3-1 compression and it wouldn't start my motor only after i jumped it then it bearlly started I think my battery might be getting old and low so i'm going to get another battery too.
I seen one on here before but can not find that post. does anyone have the part number for a high torque starter that will clear my mid lenght headers.

I had issues with my stocker (broke 3 of them). I switched to a 1996 LT4 Corvette style. It clears my Kooks LTs and starts great.

Yes that's a fairly good starter. They're pretty expensive from the dealer. Not sure if they have a core on one, but Durlast has the LT1 vette (all vette starters are the same) for $190 after a $70 core and a lifetime warranty.. Just take your old one back another day and they wont know the difference

I use this starter and it works great ! :

You do have to grind down a tiny bit off the starter block mounting surface (you also will have to clock the starter block to the correct position, not hard to do).
My car actually fires right over with this starter much better than my stock unit every worked !
