I have only had this 97 WS6 TA for 1 day and have noticed a few things about it. For example, it is a low vin car at vin 02010. Just realized that most of these cars have digital odometers. Mine is analog. Looking to find out when they made the running year change on this. Also, it looks like other information for this year is pretty thin such as the breakdown of colors and such. Anyone one have any links to sites with color breakdowns?

 

1/2 way through 97 they switched to the digital odometer.... but I had alot of trouble finding breakdowns as well.... if you find anything, PLEASE let me know!

 

10=Bright White, 13=Bright Silver Metallic, 31=Bright Green Metallic, 41=Black, 48=Dark Green Metallic, 79=Blue-Green Chameleon, 80=Bright Blue Metallic, 81=Bright Red, 88=Bright Purple Metallic (midyear availablity), 96=Red-Orange Metallic.

What else do you need to know?

 

If my math is right, that is only 567 total. I know they made 2827 WS6 TA's in 97........................ so ... how does that work?

haha no those are color option codes. u want an exact number of how many models were made in each color??? sorry my sources aren't THAT detailed... lol

 

Unfortunately, no one has been able to come up with that info. Best I can tell on the odometer is that it was switched over real early. One on ebay has a vin of 2800 and their's is analog. Another one right near 4000 is digital.

 

Hard to believe GM doesn't have that info... such as color, t-top, A4, M6 ... etc...
It would be great to have those stats.
