engine woes....

Default engine woes....

well its been a hell of a past couple days.... i decided to go ahead and change the lifters, pushrods, RR's, 918 springs.... well ever since i got it back together... the idle is around 1400 and it still isnt right.. with the valve adjustments. i guess it has to be right at 1/8 of a turn to be right. cuz i had one come loose earlier and did some cosmetic damage to the rocker but nothing major. so i double checked them by tightening just a little more... well that little more was to much now some valves arent closing and its running like **** still with a high idle...
my question is: how are some of ya locking your poly locks??? locktite???
i need some ideas... im scared its going to come loose again and blow the motor.......
when i get the next chance im going to turn almost 1/8 turn for my preload and then lock it, and then turn it until it stops to set the lock. how does that sound???

ive been messing with this for a couple of days playing with the adjustments... and of course my laptop is down so i cant datalog anything... damn all the bad luck...
any help on this would be nice...

Ive always done 1/4 turn past zero lash has always worked for me!
