plus $9xx for the rotating assembly, thats $2500. if thats all i need to do the motor i might be able to afford this deal. ill be doing most of the labor with a couple of guys who know what they are doing. that leaves me probably $2000 for a rear end or to rebuild mine.
thats my next question, i want to run a 4:10 gear and hopefully be able to get some traction still, what kind of rear end should i get or can i beef my my 10 bolt? do i need better axles?
and my transmission was just replaced about 10K miles ago with a new refurbished t-56

If it was a uto you might get away with it. But If your makeing any power you will gernade the 7.5
Might see if you can find a used 12 bolt, or save alittle more for one. 2k is about the cost for one I believe

im lookin at $700-$1000 for a rotating assembly, $1600 for heads and cam, $2000 for rear end, not sure how much its going to cost to get the block bored, plus $500ish worth of labor that i cant do myself (internals).

I'm in the last days of my build up and we are getting ready to fire her up in the next 2-3 days, I am going through this crap every day, I am ruining around buying stupid parts that I thought would be in perfect ruining shape, and all that is sucking a good amount of cash, just keep the dealers hot line handy if your doing a build up.
I think so far the only 2 things I haven't changed are the fuel tank and the rear end.
