maybe 12-15 hp...it wont breathe much more without the other supporting mods, and it is a pretty small cam by itself. do you have an itake or anything else...i have an intake and polished elbow id give you for $75 and that would help. any exhaust mods would help...etc. the cam by itself wont do very much...get my drift

I apologize in advance, but Huh?

Has this thread been hard to follow for anyone else?

Look, you don't throw in a Cam as a first mod. The whole cart before the horse metaphor. Do some searching around and start with your basic mods and go from there.

i have a loudmouth for sale...as well as the cai and elbow and a new timing chain...if you gut the cats and run the loudmouth/intake the cam will do more...the headers are the big thing with cams as they really help them breath and pull the air out. id say all of these mods without headers with the cam kit should net 25-35 rwhp tuned.

$300 plus shipping from maryland. good deal for the parts and the only hard part is shipping. also have a 3.73 gear set and deluxe rear end rebuild kit if your interested in those 2 tenths at the track.

you should replace the chain and the intake is a big 3" pipe (chrome) i bent with a cone filter on it and drilled the air hole on the bottom.

A cam was my first mod, along with some headers. Worked out alright.
And yes, his typing is sub-par
