Cams (LT1) Whats up guys, i was wondering what kind of cams you are running in your lt1's. I am wanting to make mine a fast street car, and i want a cam with strong midrange power and good top-end. I dont plan on reving anywhere past 6000-6200. So hit me up with some info.

both the 306 & 305 cams are good cams, but are old technology.
If you want a lower RPM power band you will want to keep the duration in the 220 - 230 range. I really like the new Comp XFI grinds.
Choosing a cam is not a simple answer, to really help you choose the right cam we need to know the uses/goal for the car and the current mods.

im gonna throw this out there cause i like the cam and it puts out good numbers. but i would go with a comp cams 503 grind. good all around power and with other little mods you be up there with the hp and tq numbers.
