Problem under hard acceleration...
I was coming home from work tonight and decided to work on my powershifting. I took the service road to get on the highway and nailed it. Shifting from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th it felt like I was hitting rev limiter just below 5k. At about 4900 rpms the left rear tire felt like it just locked up momentarily, chirped, then the car would pull for the next couple hundred rpms before shifting at around 5500. Any clues as to what I should start looking for? Never had the problem before tonight. Car is a 95 formy m6

I would check your rear end out. Sound like ur limited slip is on its way out (assuming u still have the stock 10 bolt)
my buddy has somthing simular happen to him in his ls1, accept he was doing about 110 mph and it threw him into the other lane. (he had a new 12bolt a few weeks latter)

Yeah I asked one of the techs I work with what he thought it was and he said the same thing. I am pulling the cover off tonight. Anything I should look for other than a couple grand stuffed in there to ease the pain?
