Default Popping on deaccel?

Everyonce and a while on deacceleration, I will get a pop or a small back fire, is that normal for a header, ory, open borla car?

I think it's normal for some LT1 setups. Mine did it also but it was fixed through the tune. I was told what tables to adjust. Forgot now.

it's a rich burn pop. Excess fuel is just igniting. Nothing to worry about but a good tune will help it.

Yeah that's normal for a lot of lt1 exhausts.

mine's done it for 3 different exhaust setups, stock/shorties & catback/longtubes & true duals. it's in the tune, not the exhaust.

Mine does it, bad!! Extremely rich, buddies say twin flames(large flames) out the true duals at night. Not cool.

I have a 96 ws6 with edelbrock headers and a magnaflow catback and it pops pretty good. My car does it under deacceleration and when shifting sometimes. I actually think it sounds cool, kind of like a race car.

Schweet. I was told it was one of two things, excess fuel, or a hole somewhere in one of the welds on my exhaust letting air get into the exhaust, which didn't make sence. Im glad you all think its excess fuel, as I was thinking I was possibly haveing a fuel pressure problem.
