ARP Oil Pump shaft
when I pulled out the oil pump, I decided to upgrade the pump drive to hardend. So I tapped off the old drive and when my new shaft came in I went to install it. I remember the old one being snug on the internal oil pump gear spindle, but the arp sleave just seams be sitting on the spindle, and the shaft wobbles around. Is this thing supposed to be that loose? Is't it suppossed to sit tight on the rod?
On this topic I just went with a Melling for $6 seeing how reliable that stock plastic is I can't believe I will ever have a problem with the Melling. That is I think about half what the ARP one cost, not that something this cheap is a budget buster but thought I would mention it.
