All LT1's had CS-144's. CS-130's were used all through the "TPI years." The only real difference in the CS-144's through the years were that the 92-93 LT1's had 124 amps whereas the 94-ups had 140. The wiring harness plugs on both styles are identical. If you're gonna run a CS-130 on an LT1, it's most likely gonna need to be either an aftermarket or a rebuilt one that's been beefed up to handle the LT1's electrical demands. Most stock CS-130's were only 105amps. And of course, because the CS-130's were physically smaller than the 144's, you need a different bracket to mount one on an LT1.

One other thing: the downfall of the CS-130's was that they had a tendency to overheat. (Because the case was so small.) If you can find it, go for one that has had an "Iceberg Conversion" done on it. It installs a bigger heatsink on the back of the case.

That's what I was looking for. Everywhere else was confusing. Damn C4's covers so many different years and setups it becomes unclear what had what.
