Few ?s on Internal Components for Rebuild I am contemplating a H/C Swap, and while I'm at it, refresh most, if not, everything. Been looking over prices and such and had a few ?s
1.) What type of Pushrod should I use? Chromemoly, Magnum, or Hi-Energy (all from Comp Cams)? What's the difference in each?
2.) Are the GM Hardened Steel Guideplates are necessity?
3.) Lifters - Comp or Crane?? If Comp...OE Replacement or "R" Hydraulic Roller Lifters
4.) Rockers - Comp Magnum (Roller Tip) or Pro Magnum (Full Roller)......Self-Aligning/Non Self-Aligning......3/8" or 7/16" Stud
5.) Pistons - LE2 Heads/Cam Package + N20. What are some recommendations?
6.) Connecting Rods and Bearings - necessary????
