well i was looking at doing a lt4 conversion with a bigger cam than the hot cam but damn the lt4 heads are crazy expensive, even going with lloyd elliots cam/head package they are expensive. How much gain will i see with a bigger cam on stock heads/intake? or how much would it cost to port out the lt1 heads to match the lt4 intake?

 

the lt1 heads wont work with the lt4 intake and vice versa. personally lt1 intake and heads can be ported fine ... lloyd elliot does them. how much of a bigger cam.

 

www.cammotion.com is great for cam recommends, give them your mods and real mods to be and theyll give you a recommended cam size, also a price shipped, theyre very reasonable. i got an emial back the next day with a cam size, which was quite big, the one im thrown in isnt quite as big, close and deff. bigger than the lt4hotcam garbage

 

im thinking about putting a comp cam 230-244 .050" duration .510".540" lift 112 lsa and 1.6 rollers, yeah but isnt it expensive to have them ported by lloyd?
