lt1 cam install

what all is needed for a cam install? i know i need lifters and rockers but what else do i need and what can i re-use?

If you want to do it the right way......................

Cam
Lifters
Push Rods
Roller Rockers/Studs
Springs-Retainers-Keepers
Timing Chain-Water Pump Drive Gear-Crank Gear
Intake Gaskests
Valve Cover Gaskets
Timing Chain Cover Gasket
Water Pump Gaskets
PCM Tune

I may have missed a few things but thats the majority of it. If it was me I wouldnt re-use any of it. Might as well change the opti and water pump while your in there if they are the origionals. All depends on your budget and what the car is gonna be used for
