Default Lt1 Help!!!

I have a 95 trans am with 120k. I just replaced the factory plugs and wires with MSDs and TR6s. It ran fine before the plugs and wires (even though it looked like a firework show when you open the hood at night). Now the car seems to run the same at idle and while crusing but is down on power big time under acceleration. I can also hear it sputter a bit when i free rev it. The water pump is leaking a little on the opti but it was doing this before the plug and wire swap. I have all the wires pushed up tight on the plugs and opti. I am going to try to borrow an opti to see if thats my problem. What else should I check? Thanks in advance

Check to see if you swapped wires 6 & 8. It'll run pretty good but not right.

Check your wires. Your water pump might have finally done you opti in

Remember that the internals of the Opti are under a slight vacuum, and if it's bathed in fluid it will seep in. My opti had been the victim of the Chinese oil torture and when I finally chaged it it was full of about 1/2 cup of oil....

You might also want to check your fuel system and start with the simple things like fuel filter.
