Help with small block conversion..
Help with small block conversion.. As in the title, no one really came back with a serious response the last time i posted this, but does anyone know how hard it would be to take out my LT1 in my 1997 Camaro, and replace it with a 572. This is something that i would really like to look into doing in the future, but i don't know what would be needed or how hard it would be to do. So please help?!?!.. I just want to go with something that is one of a kind, or at least around here in Indiana.. Thank you!.. And i am wondering if my T-56 would bolt up, or if i should go with a TH400.. It is right now an M6..
lol not many people with big blocks a few with small blocks...
ok assuming you want to do carbed you going to ahve to cut out the cowl because the carb will be there and be too high...also youll have to prolly cut out some of the fender wells, get springs and shocks...differant steering, custom headers, differant motor mounts, not sure about the firewall...and the m6 you can prolly get a adaptor plate...if you want a better response, try cz28.com message boards injuneer, can prolly help
btw if your doing it to go fast, your wasting money...for the kol factor then go for it
