Default Bang for the buck

i have a 93 lt1 t/a first off with a custom turbo from OFI ,t67 with tubular headers and im thinking i need a rebuild on the lt1. I want to make the most power possible with a forged engine and good h/c setup to go along. Help me buy telling me what kind of rebuild i should look into that i can gain the most power and reliability with. i have about 5-8000k to spend on the whole rebuild but i dont wanna buy a new shortblock thats the only thing tell me some suggestions?

well w/ a budget like that.. i'd say a 355 rebuild w/ a good crank,rod's and some nice piston's will be a good idea.. As far as heads go.. a set of ported lt1 casting's along w/ a nice turbo cam should do ya right.. You have to figure out what your ulitmate goal is.. that will then determine which way you go..

drop the compression add more stroke a good nice cam and head port a efficent drivetrain and hello 10's or even 9's. try not to go to radical or u can run into bigger problems with intake efficency.

im hoping for a 650 to 700 hp street car well my budget is more i just dont want people saying drop an ls7 go huge on h/c i just wanting something with that add big power but reliablity so i was seeing suggestions what others did

I agree 100%. Don't skimp on the bottom end parts. You could do something like this. I was reading a post of that bottom end with stock heads make 520/468@10psi.

-Callies Dragonslayer 3.480 Crankshaft
-Compstar Connecting Rods
-Diamond Pistons
-Total Seal AP Rings
