heads, pistons, and cr?? Hey I have question about cr. What should I run in a h/c 383? Im using AI's 180cc heads/cam. The pistons Im using say approx 10.4:1 with a 58cc head.... Does anyone know what it will make with those AI heads? Also, Whatever it is, will it be acceptable? Info on the head... 2.00/1.56 valves, flow 295/317 at.6*I think*..not sure, plaes help! 
If you google search I am sure you will find a website that has the formulas to calculate the Compression Ratio, but like previously said, you will need to determine the volume of the chamber and some other figures such as: head gasket thickness, piston distance from the deck at TDC, total CC volume, and any volume added or subtracted by the piston surface such as valve reliefs or dishes or domes
