I will say for the most inexpensive good set of heads out there the LE1's are hard to beat. I recomend the LE2's because of the better parts and more flexabilty and power from them.

I guess we are both a little biased but let me ask you something Bret. Have you tested heads from each one? .................. I have. Numerous in fact. Loyds heads are very good as well. They just do not perform like Port Pros. I purchased a set of heads from Port Pros 2 years before they decided to sponsor me. I found their potential before I was sponsored. I have installed, setup, and tuned 3 sets of LE heads for friends. They performed well. I have installed 4-5 sets of PortPro heads and have yielded better results. I have never and will never bash LE. He does good work. I just like to share knowledge to my fellow racers just like you. Speaking of...I need to send you a PM. I have some ideas I need to throw your way.

Good question. The PortPro stage 2's are $1599 and flow 285. The LE2's are $1400 and flow 275. They both have comparable prices on heads/cam packages which are around $1800 I think.

About 2 years maybe, 1 1/2 at least.

Tony I agree, but I've had some very good luck with Lloyd and for the money is very hard to beat. I've used a few different guys and have seen a few different setups (no port pros yet) and the only ones I have seen that are better are much more money.

I'm sure a call to Advanced Induction would reveal similar stats.

I went with E.B. Porting..Very satisfied and the track numbers speak for themselves with a set up that was not nearly optimal...It should be interesting at my next track outing..
