A stall alone is gonna suck up your $400...and to do a cam the right way you are probably looking at another $500 or so. Also, a cam is only gonna be able to do its job if the air can get in and out without restriction. Thats why I think best to do some exhaust work before anything else.

Have you descreened your Mass Air? Its somewhat of a hit or miss mod it seems. But I took mine out, and have had no ill effects. The theory goes...LT1s are ruch from the factory, so by losing the screen you lean it out a little, plus the airflow making a bit more power. Its not worth alot probably. But it all adds up.

Just get a tune done. They can eliminate the trouble causing codes that the 02s and the Emmisions can cause. I went MadZ28.com for my tune.

well. I dont have LTs. But I did remove my cat, and my emmisions and a.i.r is disconnected. No trouble codes or issues. The tune will do it. As far as hardware and gaskets...not sure about gaskets...maybe someone esle will chime in...hardware, they make some pretty nice "locking" header bolts with a hex inside the bolt that actually tries to spread the end of the bold thats in the block...effectively holding it in place. Are you planning on installing the LTs yourself?

that link shows no parts.

I would do headers!! A cam on stock manifolds will get you next to nothing. also, a cam on the stock stall also makes it a dog off the line. Replace the valve springs if you have the money, when I replaced the ones on my caddy, It felt like I had added a cam. No longer did it drop off around 4200.

You sound like a really excited 19 year old.

1) First off, if you spend 400 Dollars on rims, they most likely aren't high quality. If they aren't AFS or GM, dont get re-productions.

2) If its a DD, you will want Coated Headers. To purchase nice LT's like Pacesetter's is easily 400+ dollars, not including the Y-Pipe or Installation. Which could be another 2-400.

3) If its an A4, you don't want 3.90's or 4.10's.
I would go 3.73's.
If you do have 3.23's, dont worry about gears right now.

4) What Mods do you have?
A nice cold air kit is going to run around $180, unless you get it used.
A nice exhaust like Magnaflow, SLP Loudmouth or even a basic Hooker Catback is $300-$500
