Im new to this and I was wondering if anybody could possibly tell me what is GU6 on the side of my door means? I have heard that GU5 is 3.23 gears and GU2 is 2.73 gears, but all that's on my door is GU6. By the way it's a, 1997 Camaro Z28 M6. Thanks

just get some 4.10 gears and write on the little code with a permanent marker

GU6 is 3.42s I believe

Thanks ZFan88, I was thinking of going 3.73, but after reading about the 10 Bolt rearend, I think i'll wait and get a Ford 9"

GU6 means 3.42's ..BTW: all m6's are 3.42 from the factory.
