1995 camaro Z28
new engine has 2,000miles
bored .030"
forged pistons and rods
CAI
New built 4L60/700R4 tranny 200miles
and other little minor things....

tell me what you think

id guess in the neighborhood of 8000-10,000.. maybe more. sounds like a clean, nice ride though. good luck with the sale!

i dont think its going to be that high, depending on the shape of everything i say at most 7K.... maybe.... question... why did you put a 700R4 transmission in your car????

i just dont see doing all that just to get the 700 to work... does the lockup work or did you just leave the connectors all undone...
im just curious as to how you did it... and what style kickdown cable did you use...

I hooked up the kickdown with the cable it came with the TC is hooked to a switch... I run 8.9-9.4 in a 1/8

well thats cool.... i was just curious... hey... when your on the highway and you flip the lockup switch... how big of an RPM difference is there?? i had problems with my 700 thats why i just went manual...

well when you flipped the switch for the lock up to kick on... how much of an RPM drop did you get at the same speed.. or do you not know.. i was just curious to know how much of a drop you get from the lockup...

I will be at 2500-3000 at 70 flip the switch and it goes to 2000-2100

not bad... i was alway curious as to how much it dropped
but back on subject.. i would ask for 7K, cuz of the new motor and tranny... but being that the tranny isnt the right one.. that will hurt alittle... but with that starting you can at least be talked down into what you really want..
