Heads without cam
I always see people asking about cam without heads, but I want to know what is the reality of maybe some LE1 or LE2's, AFR 180's etc. putting down decent numbers without the bumpstick. I would like to see 340-350whp with long tubes and heads with supporting mods and a good tune. Sound reasonable?

you will see a little bit more hp, but if your going to have the entire top end of the engine apart, it would make sense to put a cam in too because it will be easier to do it.

My reasoning is this:
I want to put spray on and most people say not to with H/C considering the car has 85k.
There seems to be a lot of people spinning rod bearings after cam swaps. This happened to me three times with my DSM, which is why I own a Pontiac
now.
I do all of my own work to my cars and I'm not comfortable doing the cam and I don't know of anywhere near me that I would trust to do it, either.
Also, I drive back and forth to Vegas once or twice a month so driveablity is a must.
