Re: 94 z28 6spd Alot of it depends on the driver. The typical times from a stock M6 LT1 car are 13.9-14.2@99-100. Those times are about the average that most people will see.

Tach? Accurate? 300-400 RPM off at the big end, more like... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
But I would agree about the shift points. 5600-5700. Factory rev limiter is ~5825. Past 5700 and the stock heads/intake/cam are done.

Re: 94 z28 6spd Believe it or not, both LT1s that I owned had pretty accurate tachs. I know with autos that the shift points are all 5700rpm (except the 3-4 is 5500) and on my first 95, it shifted right at 5700. My current one only seems to be off by about 200rpm, as it shifts at 5900 according to the tach, so it's not too bad.
