I myself am partial to VORTECH... but ATI has a good kit also, you will problly run low 12's....with the right suspention and tune-up high 11's....good luck with whichever you choose!

I second Rob on Vortech. With nothing more than the standard 6# S-trim kit and full exhaust I made 440 hp, 443 tq. Bone stock motor otherwise. Ran low 12's@114 mph all day. As you can see I didn't like to run my car hard at the track during those days cause it was my daily driver but I had plenty of mph to go high 11's all day.

i have the vortech blower. it is a big mess to put in. As far as how fast you will go idont know i can not get my car out of the 13 second range. Everytime i get the tires to hook somthing breakes. Buy the end of this winter the drive train should be bullet proof. To make a long story short before you go adding a tune of horse power make sure your drive train can hold it. And i would not recomend the vortech blower. It cost more money and you will have to do alot of modifications to make it all fit. good luck

What the heck are you guys talking about? I didn't move anything! Was this your first install? Please elaborate on all this 'bs' you guys went through for your install. As far as tapping the oil pan, thats why all the manf have self contained units now. Although tapping the oil pan was not a big deal in the first place.

same thing here, no real problem to install, to each his own....i like mine, even though mine was not a true bolt-on unit (ys-trim)...it wasnt all that bad, but was well worth it!...

I am saying that moving the abs + making brake lines to move it and haveing to make brakets to move the traction control and trying to tap into the oil preshure sender on the back of the moter was kind of a pain in the butt. Not what i expected for a bolt on. You are right buy saying that it is not that hard. It was not supper hard just not expected. I still say that the other system that you dont have to install oil lines for is a much better system.
