Default Should I make it happen?

Long story short, my buddy wants to buy my car for $7,000 and my brother with the 99 WS6 A4 wants to sell me it for about $10,000. I wouldnt have extra cash from the sale of my car, as I owe almost that for it at this point. But the thought of slipping into a Black LS1 WS6 w/ 93,000 is sooooooooooooooo tempting. What should I do?

$7000 for your car is a awsome deal for you. Get the WS6.

try raising the price a little bit with your buddy and see what happens. u have your whole life to get another car. it's not like you're in desperate need for something else at the moment. it would be nice to get an LS1, but i wouldnt go rushing into things, especially if u don't have the money to get one.

Default Good deal for $3000

Moving up 5 model years to an LS1 for $3000 sounds decent, as long as the LS1 isn't beaten and needing work. Then it would get too expensive for the 'switch'. Go for it if it is a really good car.

My brothers car is pretty nice. I mean its not perfect, but thats why 10G seems reasonable. Its a black car and it has the typical "washed and waxed by people who dont know black cars" look to it. But all the same...its a mean looking car. Plus I factor in the fact that it has 3.73 and Borla Cat-Back as a quite nice bonus. I am tempted to maybe let my car go and try to find a M6 in my range. 10G and lower. I would have to take a hit on miles. I just dont know. Love my car, but everytime I see that all black w/tint RamAir pull in my driveway im like damn thats mean! Cant lose I guess. I'll see what comes out in the wash.

If you can afford it and that's what you want I say why not.

I say no, if you want to upgrade to a LS1 now, what's going to stop you from wanting to upgrade to a M6 later? I think you should get what you want the first time. Also, $7k for your car sounds like a really good deal, I'd sell it.

If I could get $7000 for my 94 Z28 , I would NOT hesitate ! It woulda been gone the second the offer was on the table .

You could pretty much get a 98 LS1 for that much nowadays . In 2004 I paid 8500 for my 99 T/A .

If I was to sell my car and start fresh, do you guys think I stand any chance of finding an LS1 M6 car for $10,000 or less?
