So, what modifications i need? such as cam, rockers, springs, valves, intake, headres....... and so on.. i want to get 600+ hp but not more than 700 hp at the wheels w/o NOS neither super chargers. but at the same time it is okay for daily use...

well, your gonna need top of the line ported stock castings, like LE3/AI 205cc(one step above 190cc?). or, if you feel that's not enough, ported LT4 heads, or trick flow, or the like... but stock castings ported out will support quite a bit of power, but a 396 is quite a few more cubes to feed than a 350. just be sure what ever heads you use, are ported by a GREAT porter, not joe shmo. other than that, your gonna need your typical bolt ons, headers, roller rockers, valve springs to handle the duration and lift, 58mm TB, ported and TB matched intake, or maybe even a new sinlge plane. I'm no expert, but 600 hp at the wheels is alot of power. It's gonna need to be a 700 hp at the flywheel kinda motor.

I think I'm just gonna step down and say, you need to talk with the experts who are running 11's and faster... wow...

i am seeing that those heads flow only 280cfm on the intake side of the head. to get 600 HP u need at least 300 plus cfm on the intake side... My stock castings TPIS ported heads make 277 cfm on the intake side for $400 less than the LE3 head....
