carbing an Lt1?

carbing an Lt1? I am going to carb my 93 Lt1 and i am wanting anyone who has done it to send me a list of what all i am going to need and about how much it cost them to do it please anyone need to get car ready for track on the 31st.

Re: I need info on carbing an Lt1 bad please!!! Scoggin Dickey sells the carb intake for the LT1 for like $250 or something like that...not sure which carb to use though i believe a holley 4 bbl will work and you will need a block off plate for the injectors.
other than that I don't know.
I have thought of this but then again you can't beat the efi throttle response.

Regardless it VERY simple. Once the Intake is had, buy the Cam Cover to replace te Opti, Install a Distributor, and that about sums it up. Granted you'll have fuel system changes, wiring changes etc, bu its all just the same as any old school car at that point.
