Do we need for modified fule pump with 383 c.i. ??

Hi ,

Someone told me that if we want to get an LT1 stroker 383 c.i. , we have to get a modefied fule pump ...... is that true ?? do we need it ??

When we were planning to get an LS1 422 c.i. , we called MTI , they told us that its no need for modified fule pump with 422 .

I am not sure about LT1s , so do we have to get a modefied fule pump with 383 c.i. LT1 ???

And what about Oil pump ??

I upgraded my fuel pump on the old motor(383) so I say yes. The motor is bigger, needing my fuel. As far as the oil pump, many have run the factory oil pump in 700+hp cars, so you should be fine.

I think just the opposite of pnyklr (no offense) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> the stock ful pump with SVO injectors should handle all your fuel needs up to 500 hp. I went with a racing oil pump on my stroker build because the car can live without fuel, not soo much without oil. Just my opinion

we already got oil pump , but we are thinking about the fule pump
